Salary and Benefits
First year cardiology fellows are salaried at the level of 4th year residents with appropriate increments in salary for each additional year of fellowship. Salaries for 2007-2008 are listed below.

| Third year fellow | $61,447 |
| Fourth year fellow | $65,130 |
Fellows receive four weeks paid vacation each year and each fellow's attendance at one national meeting or conference each year is supported. Fellows are encouraged to submit research abstracts and are expected to attend those meetings for which their papers or posters are accepted for presentation.
The hospital provides fellows with professional liability insurance, a limited state license and a narcotic permit. Medical, dental, and life insurance costs are shared with the hospital.
